Recreate any image out of real satellite imagery.
Every tile you see is a real 32×32-pixel patch from the Sentinel-2 satellite archive, averaged down to a single color. Over a million unique patch-colors were harvested from hundreds of scenes across the planet.
▦ Canvas
Upload a photo — or click an example — and it's rebuilt as a mosaic of those satellite patches. Detail sets the resolution; Random adds color variety. Click any tile to fly to where on Earth it came from. Scroll to zoom, middle/right-drag to pan, and Save PNG to export.
◍ Map
Pick a color and the globe flies to the exact place Sentinel-2 saw it. The colored dots are a sample of the whole palette — click one to grab that color.
⊹ The picker
Only colors that actually occur in the imagery are selectable (the bright zones of the picker); every pick snaps to the nearest real Earth patch.
